25th Annual Norway Area-Wide Garage Sale, Saturday, May 18

Preparations are beginning for the 25th Annual Norway Area Wide Garage Sale. Last year there were over 100 participating homes in the Norway Vulcan Area.

Registration to participate began April 15 at the First National Bank of Norway main branch, Ebeling's Grocery Store and Norway City Hall.

Cost is $5 to be placed on the list and to cover advertising costs.

2013 Spring Rubbish Drop off scheduled
Dates: Monday, April 29 - Saturday, May 11, between the hours of 8 am and 2 pm at 400 10th Avenue, Norway at the DPW shop construction dumpster.

Summer 2013 Sewer Credit Application
The sewer credit is for City customers with sewer & water service active on their utility bill.  The sewer credit is based on their average usage from Sept-May.  Example if someone’s average is 3,000 gallons and they use 6,000 gallons in June, they will be billed 6,000 on water and 3,000 on sewer.  The credit is given only for the months of June, July & August.

Our local harbinger of spring . . . the Norway Spring is on and open to the public! It's been tested as being one of the best tasting, clear, free-flowing waters in the state, and is located just west of Norway on Highway 2. Just bring your jugs to fill up.
ORV's in the city limits
To operate an ORV in the city limits of Norway without a guardian you must be:
18 years old or possess a valid driver's license and ORV Safety Certificate. Violaters will be cited with fines and fees in excess of $100.

Riding adjacent to the railroad tracks is trespassing on railroad property and subject to charges.

Copies of the ordinance & maps are available at the Norway Police Department during regular office hours.
