What is a business spotlight?

In an effort to raise awareness of the variety of businesses that make Downtown Norway a great place, the Norway DDA offers Business Spotlights for businesses within the district.

By participating, your business gets a feature on the Downtown Norway blog, Trailheads, and the Downtown Norway Facebook and Instagram pages. The promotion is available at no cost to the business owner. Mountain Media House manages this promotion on behalf of the Norway Downtown Development Authority. 

Here is how it works.

  1. Complete the form, and then someone from Mountain Media House will contact you to schedule a time to stop by to talk about your business and take some photos.

  2. Mountain Media House will write a spotlight based on the conversation and the information provided in this form.

  3. Your business spotlight is posted on www.norwaymi.com/trailheads, www.facebook.com/downtownnorway and www.instagram.com/downtownnorway.

We do our best to accommodate specific timeframe requests for your business features, but the schedule is in no particular order.

We welcome businesses to offer a giveaway prize to encourage social media followers to engage with the business spotlight. This helps increase reach and raise awareness of your business. Social media followers are encouraged to like, comment, and share the post for a chance to win the prize. Examples of giveaway prizes include merchandise, a gift card, or something unique to your business. After the business spotlight is up for one week, we randomly draw a winner on Friday of that week. We will announce the winner on Facebook and send you the winner's name.

Please note that your business name, address and phone number will be added to the Business Directory on www.norwaymi.com/accommodations upon completing this form.
