Tinti remarks, “My work requires a lot of travel because of governmental and real estate work, I basically represent the western half of the Upper Peninsula and a little bit on the border counties in Wisconsin... it takes me all over the place."
A native of Norway, Michigan, Tinti is quick to champion the business community in his hometown.
“Some people think they have to be in larger communities to have an impact.” says Tinti, “I happen to think in a small town like this, you have all sorts of unique opportunities to help each other because you know your neighbors."
Tinti's legal practice focuses on business and governmental law, including zoning, land use and development, real estate affairs, and estate planning for wills and trusts. However, he welcomes anyone needing legal services to visit his office for a consultation.
Tinti's offices are located in two historic houses, one in Crystal Falls and the other in Norway. Since purchasing the Norway location on the corner of Seventh Avenue and Norway Street, Tinti and his wife Deborah have been working to restore this 1905 home. When finished, they intend for the house to serve as an example of community history for generations to come.
When asked what he likes most about doing business in Norway, Tinti didn't hesitate to say, "I think your clientele simply wants to know you. They want to see you, shake your hand, and be comfortable with you. I find that's a significant component of doing business locally in the Norway area."
