The “Cheers” of Norway

Located at 1009 Main Street,  just within walking distance of Strawberry lake to the north and the Norway band shell to the south, Mister Mom’s Tavern is a family-owned and operated business and has been around for 36 years. Debbie Lorenzoni and her late husband Louie purchased the business, then called The Local Pub, from Jim and Grace Tregillis and Ralph and Kathie Skoglund in 1987.

In addition to beer, wine and spirits, Mister Mom’s also offers food, including pizza and pasta with homemade ingredients based on a family recipe.  To add even more local flavor, Mr. Mom’s is the home of BrewyLouie, a meat shop offering different types of sausage and bratwurst, including local favorite flavors such as pineapple, blueberry, and jalapeno cheddar. 

With ample seating, a pool table, and an outdoor area to enjoy in the warmer months, it’s the type of neighborhood bar that treats regulars like family, even naming the lights over the bar after their customers’ favorite seats.

Mister Mom’s is also host to several fundraisers throughout the year. Supporting causes from the Norway Volunteer Fire Department to the UP Honor Flight, they are dedicated to supporting the people who live in our community. 

You can stop by daily for a drink and meal starting at 2:00 pm.
